Arsenal entertain Valencia in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tie on Thursday night.
The Gunners head into the match in dreadful domestic form, having lost four of their last five Premier League matches and three in succession against Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester, conceding nine goals in the process.

Such a dismal run has inflicted considerable damage on their bid for a top-four finish, though a draw between Manchester United and Chelsea mitigated that at least somewhat.

Regardless, three-time Europa League winner Unai Emery will know that victory in the continent's secondary club competition now likely represents Arsenal's best chance of hopping back on the Champions League gravy train in 2019-20.

Standing in their way is a Valencia team embroiled in a similar battle for top four in LaLiga who brushed aside domestic rivals Villarreal in the last eight.
